Dubai Police to reportedly use Google Glass very soon
Its not just us who are playing around and exploring the Googles new wearable, here, but also its been in hands of some officials, too. The Googles project Glass will be soon a part of our neighboring countrys, Police Department. According to the reads coming in from the gulfnews, Dubai Police is all set to use Google Glass to basically issue fines to offending motorists as well as to identify wanted cars from the town.
The General Director of Smart Services at Dubai Police, Colonel Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, also gave a glimpse of demonstration of how the new Google Glass will be implemented to their force. As reported by the sources, the smart wearable headset from the Americans are currently undergoing trial by the Dubai Polices Smart Services Department, which will be soon put into action by the countryside traffic police.
In addition the Smart Service teams has also made two new applications, that will be used with the new Google Glass. To make stuff better clear, one of the new application will allow the officers to take photos of traffic violations, which will straight away make its way to their database along with other details like the exact location, time and date automatically. The second app will help the policemen identify wanted cars on road by looking at their license plates through Google Glass.
"We at Dubai Police always try to adopt what is new in the market and we like to stay up-to-date. If it passes our testing criteria as well as we see that it is a useful device, then we might decide to launch it and buy more of it," said Colonel Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, General Director of Smart Services at Dubai Police.
The new initiative from the Dubai Police will help them bring smarter and latest technology to fight the lawless crimes in the country. But, unfortunately, the search giants new product is only available in the United States at an hefty amount of $1500, which is not yet ready for a consumer launch.

Samsung reportedly preparing Gear Glass for September launch
The South Korean electronics manufacturing giant Samsung is reportedly in works of their next generation American made Google Glass competitor. Okay, its another fact that, the Google Glass is still in its Beta Explorer Editions. According to the words coming in from BUSINESSKOREA, the company is readying their new wearable for a September release to the public consumers.
As said but the sources and Samsung associates, Samsung is working hard to launch their new Gear Glass at this years International Franchise Association (IFA), 2014, that will take place in Berlin, Germany in the dates of 5th to 10th of September. According to the reads, the impending Gear Glass will run over the companys self developed (with Intel) Tizen Operating Systems latest version on board, as Samsung keeps Tizen fashion for its lately announced wearables, like the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit. And in terms of its design, the Samsung Gear Glass will be equipped with an ear piece and a display towards the right for your right ear and eye.
Regarding the Gear Glass, we also read that the South Koreans have obtained a pertinent patent from the American Patent Law Association and designs patent for their upcoming units from Intellectual Property Office, Korea, back in October, the previous year.
"We rolled out the smartwatch first, and have secured a considerable amount of smart glass-related technology and patents. Following the roll out of our smart watch Galaxy Gear in September last year, we are slated to introduce our smart glass Gear Glass this September," said the Samsung associate.

Reportedly upcoming iPhone 6s final design confirmed dummy units are here!
Apples upcoming smartphone and their next generation iPhone 6 is leaking in and out from different sources these days. Literally speaking, we have been seeing different stages of the yet to go official smartphones dummy units flooding the internet media. All the pictures we see day by day are almost similar in nature, where yesterday we saw another round of the unannounced phones dummy units posing for the camera, with the courtesy NWE from Twitter, said to be in the final juncture of their 2014 design for iPhone 6.
What we do notice from the pictures attached both above and below, are that, the new said to be Apples upcoming front runner smartphone and so called iPhone 6 is really slim in its design, which is almost as thin as the companys last announced fifth generation iPod.
The Americans seems to have skipped the glass panel on its flagships back, going for a full-anodized aluminium finish this time, as what they have been doing with the iPads and iPods lately. The camera lens sensor looks to be slightly bigger when compared to other iPhones in the market and the LED seems to have shrunk in size, skipping that dual-tone fashion. According to the hardware buttons, on the left we have Apples traditional mute switch sitting above the redesigned volume up and down rockers, which now have the same shape of an Apple made iPod 5s volume buttons, featuring the long and narrow buttons instead of the circular ones seen from the current iPhone 5S.
Where else on the right we surprisingly see Apple re-positioning their sleep/wake button, reportedly for better one handed operation, as the new Apple iPhone 6 was earlier rumored to come in two flavors, one measuring with a 4.7-inches screen and another one to be a 5.7-incher with the SIM card slot placed below the power key. There isnt much change from the devices front side to be noted at the moment. We will have to wait a bit long until this fall for any official news from the American multinational corporation.
