Samsung Galaxy Note 2 a better human design with the S Pen

Apple on Monday just announced that iPhone 5 sales topped more than five million over its first weekend, hit a sell record compared to iPhone 4s, which have a four million opening weekend sales. But at least seen from now, it has no obvious effect on Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S3 has sold more than 20 million already, and the Note 2 is attracting a lot of attention thanks to its better hardware and comes preloaded with Android Jelly Bean with new features. The most appealing feature of the Galaxy Note 2 is the addition of the S Pen.

Compared to Galaxy Note, The new S Pen on Note 2 has been further improved. The new S Pen is slightly thicker and longer than the previous one. The Pen shape upgraded to an elongated cylindrical shape, thereby increasing the grip surface.

Another new feature is Air View.  It lets you hover the pen over the Lcd (without touching) to activate previews, such as looking inside an album in the picture gallery. The technology used with the S Pen allows it to be recognized even when its a few millimeters away from the Lcd, That is to say you can browse the content without click the icon. For example, you can hover the pen over an email, and youll get a preview of the first few lines.

With Easy Clip technology, Its also possible to draw around anything you see on the Lcd and cut it out to paste elsewhere. Simply pull out the pen and youll be able to scribble stuff down in seconds.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10 5 leaks with OLED screen on board

Samsung has been planing a really high-end Galaxy slate, if you didnt know about. The companys upcoming tablet is reportedly named as the next generation Samsung Galaxy Tab S, which is said to arrive to the markets in models, one featuring an 8.4-inches screen and the second one with 10.5-inches screen size. Here we have the bigger units leaked live photographs, showing-off in White color option, toting its screen (from the above picture) and back hardware (from the picture below), exclusively, by the courtesy of SAMMOBILE. So, what makes this slates so special? Folks, the South Koreans have decided to bring back their OLED or Organic Light Emitting Diode display back to the game, which was last seen on a Galaxy Tab 7.7, announced back in 2011.

And as far as this leaked Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is concerned, one the front we are seeing the traditional Samsung-styled home button, which is rumored to attribute the the Galaxy S5 like integrated finger print scanner or biometrics reader, that will basically have features such as quick multi-user login, screen unlocking, PayPal payments and so on, accompanied by the recent apps and back capacitive tabs on either sides of the physical button.

Even though the tablet looks like the Samsung made Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 or Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 from the front, the story is slightly different from the back. In term of its hardware, their new forthcoming slate will exactly resemble not the previous generation Galaxy Tabs but the companys current flagship handset, the Galaxy S5s design, siting the very same perforated material on the back, with a primary camera and LED flash. Notice those two circle dots down below? Well, they are mentioned to be proprietary connectors for Samsung’s Book Cover, something new, that we havent seen before.

Lastly, the new Galaxy Tab S slates are said to pack the companys own Exynos Octa-Core chipset, with four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and another four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores, 8.4 and 10.5-inches OLED AMOLED screen of 2560 x 1600 resolution display, eight megapixels main shooter on the back with LED flash and a 2.1 megapixels front facing snapper. And finally for connectivity, there is Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/GLONASS, and 4G LTE network support in house with a dedicated IR Blaster. The next tablets from Samsung will run Androids version 4.4 KitKat with company TouchWiz User Interface and other firms proprietary applications like the Magazine UX, as seen from the first picture. We may hear Samsung announcing the slates in the near future.
