Motorola Moto G Forte announced in Mexico not a rugged handset



Remember us talking about a new rugged handset from Motorola, the Moto G Forte the past Sunday? Well with some surprise the phone is now official by the company in Mexico. Taking the words we said in our previous read on Moto G Forte article, "The new smartphone from Motorola is likely to fall in the list of rugged, dust and water resistant phones with reportedly the same internal specifications on board," has to be updated.

The new/old phone from Motorola does not carry any kind of IP certifications on board to make the smartphone dust and water resistant, where else the phone itself will ship wearing the companys lately announced back cover Moto G Grip Shell out of the box. The phone is now available for sales from Mexicos Nextel carrier, where they will bundle up the offer with free 50 gigabytes on Google Drive. For a brush up, other internal specifications of the smartphone includes a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor running at 1.2GHz with a Cortex A-7 CPU, Adreno 305 GPU, 4.5-inches HD of 720 x 1280 resolution display in protection with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, marked at 326 pixels-per-inch, 8 and 16 gigabytes of on board storage option, a gigabyte of RAM, a five megapixels back camera with LED flash light capable of shooting 720p videos and a 1.3 megapixels front facer, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G connectivity, packing a 1,950mAh powered battery and running Androids version 4.4.2 KitKat on top.

HTC announced One M8 Phunk Studio Edition in United Kingdom



Well, if you were waiting for yet another version of HTC One 2014 (M8) smartphone, the Taiwanese based handset manufacturer have heard you once again. The company have always kept an habit of teaming up with designers and other multinational brands to bring a twist to their line-up of devices. The day before, the phone maker took some time to come forward and unveil a new addition to their 2014 flagship smartphone, One M8.

Here, the a global leader in mobile innovation and design, HTC, of course, have amalgamated with Phunk Studio, the contemporary art and design collective from Singapore, to unveil the very special and limited edition version of HTC One M8 smartphone. According to the new Press Release, the company have announced a campaign, which has already began its ride from 14th of this month, where they will be bringing on 64, yes only 64 new Phunk Studio Edition smartphones, to celebrate the 20th Anniversary and also to provide clear sneak preview of their design collectives in the ongoing exhibition, thatll take place throughout three countries around the globe, from Japan, Singapore to Hong Kong, this year. The artists from Phunk have done a brilliant job in sculpting bespoke out "Wonderment" theme onto the aluminium body of the phone, which perfectly describes the inspiration from surroundings, culture and the society in which we live, as mentioned.

"At HTC we are always looking for inspiration from designers and artists across all cultures and media. PHUNK is a hugely talented collective of designers and artists whose global perspective and attention to craft mirrors our values on the HTC design team. Their work responds to the world around them in the same way we design for the attitudes and behaviors we see in people during our creative process. We worked closely with PHUNK to integrate their interpretation of the Wonderment theme into the metal unibody of the HTC One (M8), culminating in an exceptional piece of art that is an inspiration to our team and those who will be lucky enough to own one," said Jonah Becker, Head of HTC Design.

So, the new limited edition smartphone from HTC and Phunk will remain the exact same from its internals, as seen from the original version of One M8, and you will be see the phone coming in couple of previously announced shades, that is in Glacial Silver (as seen above) and Amber Gold (as seen below). ZTE announced Star 1 in China



Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment and systems company, ZTE has announced their new generation Android powered handset, named the ZTE Star 1.

The new smartphone from the Chinese firm packs in middle ranged internals out of metal frames on sides and glass in the front and back. This newly unveiled phone will also attribute Dolby Digital sound experience. We have got the list of both hardware and software specifications at the moment to write in.

The new Star 1 from ZTE will feature a Quad-Core Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 processor speeding at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), five-inches Full High Definition screen of 1920 x 1080 resolution display with One Glass Solution (OGS) technology and 178-degrees wide viewing angles, 16 gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot), two gigs of Random Access Memory (RAM), eight megapixels main camera on back with dual-LED flash light and a five megapixels front facing secondary camera. On the network side, the phone showcases fourth generation LTE capabilities with other major connections, a 2,300mAh powered battery and runs Androids version 4.4 KitKat with custom User Interface over the hood.

The new smartphone from ZTE is expected to go on sale in China this month, where we hear about a China Unicom version to debut early next month. The phone is presently priced at 1399 Chinese Yuan, about 225 United States Dollars, coming in Black, White and Pink color options.

Xtouch announced X3 a Hexa Core dual SIM phablet



Xtouchs next big phone is here, and when we say that Big Phone, we mean it literally too. The new smartphone from the Chinese multinational electronics manufacturer Xtouch and Tecsync Technology from United Arab Emirates will feature a Hexa-Core processor out of its box, with a 5.5-inches large display.

The newly announced phone from Xtouch, the X3 showcases attributes of smart gesture tech, where users can wake-up the phone to different application using unlike gestures while the phone is fast asleep. The company also boasts that their new X3 is the worlds first handset to feature MediaTeks MT6591 Hexa-Core Central Processing Unit. The Xtouch X3 screens brings you best and perfect Retina enjoyment.

To complete the full list of internal specifications, the phablet comes with a Hexa-Core MediaTek MT6591 processor, Cortex-A7 CPU with six cores clocked at 1.5GHz, Mali-450 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), 5.5-inches Full High Definition five points capacitive touchscreen of 1920 x 1080 resolution display, 16 gigabytes of internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot), 2 gigabytes of DDR2 Random Access Memory (RAM), eight megapixels main camera on the back with LED flash light, two megapixels secondary camera on the front, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity with dual-SIM cards on 3G WCDMA and 2G GSM networks, 2,050mAh powered battery and runs Android version 4,2 Jelly Bean over the hood.

The whole unit measures about 154.00 x 76.80 x 6.99 millimeters in dimensions and weighs 154 grams on mass. We expect the phone to go on sale pretty soon from now, on Souq.com around the Middle East.

Pantech Vega Iron2 announced with high end internals



Pantech, being an emerging South Korean company known for manufacturing smartphones, established back in early 1991, have announced their new flagship smartphone/phablet from existing Vega fleet, dubbed as Pantech Vega Iron2. As heard from our previous leaks reported, the phone from the Koreans will boast really high-end internal specifications out of the box, that will set a new challenge other flagships of the tech giants in the game.

When talking about the design of the phone, there is a physical Samsung like home button on the bottom, and from the back, Iron2 gives in a texture of faux leather from the Press renders, coming to the markets in two, Black and White flavors. The newly unveiled Vega Iron2 has got a metal frame around its sides, which will be available in a number of colors, from Black Red, Black Gold, Black Silver, White Rose Pink, White Shiny Silver to White Champagne Gold. The phone is measured at 144.2 x 73.5 x 7.9 millimeters in dimensions and surprisingly the White models weighs 153 grams, where else the Black ones weighs only 152 grams on mass.



The new Pantech made Vega Iron2 will feature a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor (not 805 as hinted earlier), clocked at 2.3GHz, 5.5-inches Full High Definition AMOLED screen of 1080p resolution display, 32 gigabytes of internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot up to might 2 terabytes), three gigabytes of LPDDR3 Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels main camera on the back with Optical Image Stabilization, LED flash light and 4K Ultra High Definition video recording facilities. On the front there sits a two megapixels secondary camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE-Advanced network support on board, a 3,220mAh powered battery and ships with Androids version 4.4.2 KitKat, skinned with companys custom UI.

Unfortunately the availability nor pricing information is available at the moment, but keeping the firms past track records in mind, it hasnt shipped number of its smartphones outside the shores of the Korean sand. But as said earlier, the phablet may arrive in four variants, which includes M-A910K, M-A910S, M-A910L and M-A910D, where three is said to be for the countryside carriers and one for the International markets, so keep you hopes flame burning.
