Samsung invites the media to their Unpacked 5 event at MWC this month

With the South Koreans latest Press invitation going viral from their Google+ page, for the months Mobile World Congress shows floor, scheduling yet another Unpacked 5 event, which will be Samsung Unpacked 2014s Episode 1, on first day of the exhibition, 24th of February, Monday in Barcelona, Spain in evening at 20:00 CET.
We Samsung fans are all now turned up, as it is reportedly about the companys next big thing or indeed the flagships time, where the previous year too we seen the Big S hinting or teasing their upcoming high-end Galaxy S device with names and numbers like "Be ready 4 the next Galaxy". Nevertheless, we have been already seeing the device it self in purported leaks and hearing rumors of the unannounced Samsung manufactured Galaxy S5, that is likely get announced at their upcoming MWC 2014 conference, as files suggests from the past months.
So, as the Koreans said to mark our calenders or agenda for this respective day, accordingly the public can witness their happenings live on their YouTube channel mentioned on the above invitation card.

O2 carrier posts sign up page pre Samsung Unpacked 5 event

Samsung have their Unpacked 5 event marked on calenders for 24th of this month at the Mobile World Congress trade show, kicking off the ground from Barcelona, Spain. And we are all anticipated for the big South Korean multinational manufacturer to officially introduce their next generation, rumored, leaked and talked about, 2014 flagship handset, the Samsung Galaxy S5.
As the upcoming Press Conference is just days ahead, it seems that the German provider of broadband and telecommunications, O2, cant just wait for things to get sanctioned. Today the company has posted a dedicated sign-up or teaser page on the event that is going to take place, later this month. The domain address hints us about the Unpacked event and captions, "Anticipation high 5", from the link. It looks like the people from Germany is in search of customers interested in receiving details on the yet to be announced devices retail availability and pricing information, once they have them, by the end of February. Does that phone under water has to do something with Galaxy S5s IP 65 certifications?

BlackBerry shows off Z3 and Q20 at their MWC event

The Canadian smartphone and operating system manufacturer, BlackBerry is back to the markets, as the companys new Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman, John Chen introduces, the new Z3 and Q20 handsets at their Mobile World Congress trade show event, held yesterday.
As said by the firms CEO in position, the new Z3 smartphone is BlackBerrys first ever phone thatll make it to the Taiwanese Foxconns network, in a strategic partnership, announced back in December, 2013. The other phone we have from the Canadian this time is the next generation Q20, which will sport the companys traditional physical QWERTY keyboard, buttons and a dedicated trackpad.
The new BlackBerry Z3 (from the above picture) will come out of its box with a Dual-Core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Cortex-A7 Central Processing Unit (CPU) and Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), a full five-inches screen of 540 x 960 resolution display marked at 220 pixels-per-inch, eight gigs of internal mass storage and 1 1.5 GB Random Access Memory (RAM), five megapixels main camera on the back with 1.1 megapixels snapper on the front, fourth generation LTE connectivity on board, running BlackBerry 10.2.1 OS over the hood. The Z3 attributes some apps like BlackBerry Hub, BBM, BlackBerry Keyboard, Time Shift & Story Maker, BlackBerry 10 Browser, Instant Previews & Reply, Fast, Easy Sharing, FM Radio and more. The handset is expected to show up on most of the major carriers around Indonesia, staring April.
Lastly, the BlackBerry Q20, bringing back the old Menu, Back, Send and End hardware buttons along with their integrated trackpad to 2014, featuring a 3.5-inches capacitive touchscreen, which is currently the largest one announced from the BlackBerry QWERTY phones fleet. Other internals specifications of the phone is disclosed at the moment, only saying about a large battery for better battery life and premium material used in making it more reliable and durable. The phone will ship with enhancements from BlackBerry 10, by the end of second half of this year.
